Madam Matilda tolerates no tomfoolery.

Tiny short about Madam Matilda’s beach day. The short was created at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
Madam Matilda is a silicone puppet with replacement propoxy mouth shapes. Her beach towel is made out of fabric with a wire rig inside of it. The characters in the background are all made out of clay and don’t have a skeleton inside as they didn’t need to move.

Bottlerocket

Maya

Maya is an experimental animation film I made in winter 2016. I created Rorschach inkblots on paper and used them as frames for animation.
The purpose of the project was to use something as spontaneous and illusory as Rorschach inkblots and use them to create an animated sequence which requires a lot of careful planning. As with most experimental pieces I was interested in the process and the challenge was to see if it would be successful.
The name of the film Maya is a Hindi word that means illusion.
